MAUI NEEDS OUR HELP!

LAHAINA DESTROYED.  MAUI DEVASTATED!

Mahalo to all our South Florida Ohana (customers) who have called and stopped in to ask about our family.  Yes, we have family in Maui, in and local to Lahaina and Kehei!  Fortunately, our close relatives are ok and not impacted by the fires.  We are still waiting to hear about distant family.  We are deeply saddened to hear about the devastation and loss. Our hearts ache knowing so many families have lost loved ones, their homes, their livelihoods and their memories. We now know over 1,000 buildings are gone and over 11,000 residents are displaced.  Many still unaccounted for.  As of this writing, the death toll is nearing 100.

Our company mission is to connect our community and spread aloha!  While we're committed to that mission, we also know Maui needs our help now more than ever!  What better way to connect our community that join together in solidarity and support another community in greater need.  So, we're fundraising and putting together a list of local non-profit organizations and hope you'll join us in supporting the Maui community at the frontlines of this humanitarian effort.

We created a GoFundMe account so we could help fundraise on behalf of Hawai'i Community Foundation.  Click here to join our fundraiser campaign!

HOW ELSE CAN YOU HELP?

Sharing your aloha, keeping the Lahaina and Maui community in your prayers, sharing the stories and raising  awareness and donations will be the most immediate need.  Communities across the islands and from along the West Coast have already been sending supplies.  So we are asking our community to help in donating monetary funds, for now.  Below you'll find some local non-profits with boots on the ground making an impact right now!  Please choose one, or multiple, and donate what you can.

Maui Strong Fund

Hawaii Community Foundation

Kahului, HI

The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources that can be deployed quickly, with a focus on rapid response and recovery for the devastating wildfires on Maui.

HCF is working in close collaboration with state and county leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to get an understanding of the quickly evolving priorities.

Funding will support evolving needs, including shelter, food, financial assistance, and other services as identified by our partners doing critical work on Maui.

We may be far from the islands, but the islands are never far from our hearts.
Mahalo nui loa for your aloha (love) and kokua (helpful generosity & kindness)!
Check back soon, we'll be adding more organizations and direct family links affected by wildfires here.
