The event will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Sweet Aloha Ice Cream, on a mission to spread aloha through delicious treats, will be showcasing authentic Hawaiian shave ice from Haole Boys Shave Ice, a brand established in 2014 and dedicated to bringing the Hawaiian experience to the mainland. Unlike snow cones made with crushed ice, Hawaiian shave ice is a delightful textural adventure. A large block of ice is expertly shaved into a light, fluffy snow with a fine, delicate texture that melts in your mouth, leaving a refreshingly cool sensation.
Traditionally in Hawaii, shave ice is enjoyed in a multitude of ways. While Sweet Aloha Ice Cream typically offers a variety of toppings to create your own customized masterpiece, for this year's Luau with Tua, they'll be keeping things simple and authentic. Guests can cool down with a classic Hawaiian shave ice experience, featuring condensed milk for sweetness and a sprinkle of li hing mui powder, a tart and salty plum powder that adds a unique Hawaiian touch.
